Baihaba Village, known as the "Number One Village of Northwest China", is located on the banks of the Haba River - the natural border between China and Kazakhstan. The village itself is a highlight, with its ancient traditions, modest customs, a primitive natural environment and original features, all much the same as in centuries past.
Transport: there's no bus or train available to the village. Cars can be rented at Lake Kanas; take the S229 to Baihaba. The drive takes 2 hours.
