Roy Hodgson was born in 1947 in England and has managed 16 different teams in eight countries. From 1992 to 1996 he was in charge of the Switzerland national team, guiding them to the final 16 teams of the 1994 World Cup and qualification for UEFA Euro in 1996. From 2006 to 2007 he managed the Finland national team, lifting them to their highest position in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking. Hodgson has also coached many notable clubs, such as Inter Milan, FC Copenhagen, Udinese, Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion. Hodgson speaks five languages and served several times as a member of FIFA's and UEFA's technical study groups.
