| When we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are called The Threat. |
當(dāng)我們被預(yù)言將成為超級(jí)大國(guó)時(shí)，又被稱為主要威脅。 |
| When we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to open markets. |
當(dāng)我們閉關(guān)自守時(shí)，你們走私鴉片強(qiáng)開(kāi)門戶； |
| When we embrace free trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs. |
當(dāng)我們擁抱自由貿(mào)易時(shí)，卻被責(zé)罵搶走了你們的飯碗。 |
| When we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your fair share. |
當(dāng)我們風(fēng)雨飄搖時(shí)，你們鐵蹄入侵要求機(jī)會(huì)均等； |
| When we tried to put the broken pieces back together again, Free Tibet, you screamed. It was an invasion! |

| When tried communism, you hated us for being communist. |

| When we embrace capitalism, you hate us for being capitalist. |
當(dāng)我們實(shí)行市場(chǎng)經(jīng)濟(jì)時(shí)，你們又嫉妒我們有了資本。 |
| When we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet. |
當(dāng)我們的人口超過(guò)十億時(shí)，你們說(shuō)我們摧毀地球； |
| When we tried limiting our numbers, you said we abused human rights. |
當(dāng)我們限制人口增長(zhǎng)時(shí)，你們又說(shuō)我們踐踏人權(quán)。 |
| When we were poor, you thought we were dogs. |
當(dāng)我們一貧如洗時(shí)，你們視我們低賤如狗； |
| When we loan you cash, you blame us for your national debts. |
當(dāng)我們借錢給你們時(shí)，你們又埋怨使你們國(guó)債累累。 |
| When we build our industries, you call us polluters. |

| When we were lost in chaos and rampage, you demanded rules of law. |
當(dāng)我們動(dòng)亂無(wú)序時(shí)，你們說(shuō)我們沒(méi)有法治； |
| When we uphold law and order against violence, you call it violating human rights. |
當(dāng)我們依法平暴時(shí)，你們又說(shuō)我們違反人權(quán)。 |
| When we were silent, you said you wanted us to have free speech. |
當(dāng)我們保持沉默時(shí)，你們說(shuō)我們沒(méi)有言論自由； |
| When we are silent no more, you say we are brainwashed-xenophobes. |
當(dāng)我們敢于發(fā)聲時(shí)，又被說(shuō)成是洗過(guò)腦的暴民。 |
| "Why do you hate us so much?" we asked. |
我們不禁要問(wèn)：“為什么你們這樣憎恨我們？” |
| "No," you answered, "we don't hate you." |
你們回答說(shuō)：“不，我們不恨你們?！?/td> |
| "We don't hate you either, but, do you understand us?" |
“我們也不恨你們，只是，你們了解我們嗎？” |
| "Of course we do," you said, "We have AFP, CNN and BBC's ..." |
“當(dāng)然了解，我們消息多的是，有法新社、美國(guó)有線新聞網(wǎng)、還有英國(guó)廣播公司……” |
| What do you really want from us? |

| Think hard first, then answer, Because you only get so many chances. |
回答之前請(qǐng)仔細(xì)想一想，因?yàn)槟銈兊臋C(jī)會(huì)是有限的。 |
| Enough is enough, enough hypocrisy for this one world. |
夠了，這個(gè)世界已經(jīng)容不下太多的偽善。 |
| We want one world, one dream, and peace on earth. |
我們要的是同一個(gè)世界，同一個(gè)夢(mèng)想，太平盛世。 |
| This big blue earth is big enough for all of us. |
這個(gè)遼闊的藍(lán)色地球，容得下你們，也容得下我們。 |
