科比在中國(guó)劇院前留手印

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has become the first athlete ever to be immortalized at Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood movie industry landmark.

新華社報(bào)道，洛杉磯湖人隊(duì)后衛(wèi)科比·布萊恩特在美國(guó)加州好萊塢的格勞曼中國(guó)劇院前廣場(chǎng)留下手印和腳印，成為第一位在格蘇曼中國(guó)劇院被永久紀(jì)念的體育明星。格蘇曼中國(guó)劇院是好萊塢電影業(yè)的標(biāo)志。周六科比在劇院內(nèi)舉行的儀式上說(shuō)，"這是一個(gè)巨大的榮耀。" 他還說(shuō)，他的手印和腳印與眾多電影界的傳奇人物放在一起是他所有成就的最高峰，包括幫助湖人隊(duì)五次登頂美國(guó)職業(yè)籃球聯(lián)賽。

白宮從重慶選拔實(shí)習(xí)生

《重慶晨報(bào)》報(bào)道，美國(guó)白宮將從中國(guó)重慶選拔10名優(yōu)秀青年，成為白宮實(shí)習(xí)生，在美國(guó)總統(tǒng)身邊進(jìn)行為期一個(gè)月的實(shí)習(xí)。這個(gè)青年大使計(jì)劃此前只向中國(guó)香港、臺(tái)灣地區(qū)的優(yōu)秀學(xué)生開(kāi)放。

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has become the first athlete ever to be immortalized at Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood movie industry landmark, Xinhua reported. Imprints of Bryant's hands and feet will be placed in the theater's famous Forecourt of the Stars. "This is a tremendous honor," Bryant said at the ceremony, which was held inside the theater Saturday. He said having his prints alongside those of Hollywood legends was "right at the top" of his many accomplishments, including helping the Lakers to five NBA championships.

White House to hire Chinese interns

The White House is to select 10 young people from Chongqing to work for President Obama for a month as interns, the Chongqing Morning News reported. The Youth Ambassador Plan had previously been restricted to Hong Kong and Taiwan.
