This documentary covers a very popular folk festival celebration in Suzhou. This important annual event has been celebrated for more than one thousand years. The 14th day of the 4th lunar month is a day widely believed to be the birthday of Lu Chunyang, a very popular immortal widely worshiped in China. Thousands of people gather on Nan Hao Street. They all hope to "bump into" this most beloved southern Chinese immortal. Currently this festival is applying for status as an intangible cultural heritage.
