Li Xiaoming |
Li Xiaoming, was born in April 1975 in Shenqiu, Henan Province. Li joined the Communist Party of China in March 1995. He began working in August 1997 and was ranked as a Superintendent of Class I.
From September 1993 to August 1997 Li studied in the PLA University of Foreign Languages majoring in English. After graduation, he worked in Xiangcheng Municipal Public Security Bureau of Henan Province.
In October 2001, he was sent to United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET) by the Ministry of Public Security to implement the peacekeeping mission as vice captain of China Peacekeeping CIVPOL. Later he was promoted to deputy head of the Bureau of Strategic Plan of Police Headquarters of UNTAET. In September 2004, he was transferred to the department of China Peacekeeping CIVPOL of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. He was appointed principal staff member in September 2007. From September 2008 to September 2009, he studied international relations at the University of Warwick.
He died in the Haiti earthquake in Port-au-Prince, capital of Haiti, January 13, 2010.
