The government of Canada is trying to track down 337 of the country's nationals who went missing in Chile after Saturday's 8.8 magnitude earthquake.
Canadian Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon said Tuesday in a statement: "We have no reports of Canadians seriously affected by the earthquake."
The foreign ministry has so far located 520 Canadians in Chile and is "actively trying to establish contact with 337 Canadians in the region who have not yet been located."
