Chrysler Group LLC will unveil its Dodge Dart GT at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, which is slated to open next week.
The 2013 Dart GT will feature a 184-horsepower, 2.4-liter Tigershark engine connected to either a six-speed manual or six- speed PowerTech automatic transmission, a sport-tuned suspension with frequency sensing dampening shocks, plus an integrated dual exhaust and LED tail lamps. Dart GT will join a lineup that already includes the Dart SE, SXT, Rallye, Aero and Limited models.
The manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) of the new Dart vehicle is 20,995 dollars, according to Tuesday's Detroit News.
Like other versions of the Dart, the GT vehicles will be built at Chrysler's Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois. Production is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of the year. Endi
