China's top legislature on Saturday approved a cooperative agreement with the Russian Federation to crack down on terrorism, secessionist and extremism.
According to a communique released by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), the agreement was signed by Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi with the Russian side in Beijing on Sept. 27, 2010.
The Standing Committee of the NPC started to review the bill proposed by the State Council, or Cabinet, to ratify the agreement on Monday.
