China and Russia will hold their sixth round of strategic security talks next week.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin made the announcement on Friday.
Liu said Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev will visit China from Oct. 19 to 22, during which Patrushev will hold talks with State Councilor Dai Bingguo.
China-Russia strategic security talks were initiated by leaders of the two countries in 2005.
