According to the private TV channel Express, on Friday afternoon a pilotless plane first hovered over the area for some time and then fired four missiles at a vehicle carrying five persons in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, Pakistan's tribal area bordering Afghanistan.
All the five persons were killed on spot and their bodies could not be recognized due to burning.
North Waziristan is said to be the one of the strong hideout of the Pakistani Taliban. United States has been pressurizing Pakistani authorities to conduct a military operation in the area to curb the militants who reportedly plan attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan from the said hideouts.
