A special U.S. envoy for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is leaving for Asia Saturday to consult on DPRK issues, the U.S. State Department said.
It said U.S. special representative for DPRK policy Stephen Bosworth is leading an interagency delegation to consult with counterparts from South Korea, Japan and China.
"The delegation departed from Washington on the morning of Nov. 20, will arrive in Seoul on Nov. 21, travel to Tokyo on Nov. 22, and depart for Beijing Nov. 23," the department said. "They will return to Washington on Nov. 24."
Bosworth last visited the three Asian states in September.
