Presidential Minister Jacek Sasin said Friday morning that there were no plans so far to postpone the funeral of the Polish presidential couple in Cracow.
Sasin said that such decision would be absolutely the last alternative. The funeral has been planned to hold on Sunday, April 18.
On Friday morning, the aviation authorities decided to close most of Poland's air space because of the enormous cloud of volcanic ash drifting from Iceland.
Poland's air space has been closed from 0800 hrs on Friday except for the southern cities of Cracow and Rzeszow until further notice.
President Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria, and 94 passengers of the presidential plane were killed in an air crash near Smolensk, Russia, on April 10.
