Beijing is no longer the calm and congestion-free city it was only a few days ago after residents temporarily deserted the capital, as well as other mega cities, to return home for the Spring Festival holiday. Now that the festivities are over, traffic jams resumed on Thursday, especially at the entrance of Beijing. Aerial footage shows throngs of vehicles slowly making their way to the capital on the G4 expressway linking Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao.
