Chinese ceramic art has created countless classics. The Ru Kiln, producing porcelain items for the royal family of the Northern Song dynasty more than 900 years ago, represented the peak of China's porcelain burning techniques. But it only lasted for 20 years. Over the past 800 years, ceramic artisans have been struggling to imitate and reproduce this ancient method. Zhu Wenli, who has been in the business for around 40 years, is one of them.
