China's foreign ministry has re-affirmed its stance that countries should reduce their nuclear arsenals. A Foreign Ministry spokeswoman made the comment when asked about China's reaction to Trump's remarks.
"China has been consistently advocating the call to completely ban and destroy nuclear weapons. Countries with the largest nuclear weapon stocks shoulder the responsibility and priority to continuously and significantly cut down their nuclear weapons, to create conditions for realizing the comprehensive nuclear disarmament target," said spokesperson Hua Chunying.
