Japan isn't the only place feeling tremors. A magnitude 6-point-3 earthquake struck central New Zealand on Tuesday. The quake took place 138 kilometers off the coast of the country's North Island at a depth of 37 kilometers.
Only a little more than a week ago, a magnitude 7-point-8 tremor rocked New Zealand's South Island and killed two people. Thousands of aftershocks have been registered since the quake on the 14th of November.
