The monkey first appeared at a farm in East China's Jiangxi Province and stayed on the back of the farmer's goats for several days.

The farmer said that when the monkey arrived about five days ago, it sat on a piece of wood. But the monkey later found safer refuge on the back of a goat. For the past few days, the baby monkey has changed goats and rides with them while they are out grazing.
The little monkey weighs about just three kilos but has refused the bananas the farmer tried to feed it. Local wildlife authorities say they will send the monkey to a zoo and then release it into the wild when it's ready.
