Heavy snow has swept through the East Coast of the United States, forcing more than 2,000 flights to be cancelled and a highway to be closed.
A stretch of Interstate 65 has been closed in southern Indiana. Authorities say strong winds, drifting snow and poor visibility have lead to several accidents on the busy stretch of highway along the Indiana Kentucky border.
Several collisions were reported, and a number of vehicles slided off the icy roadway. No serious injuries have been reported.
