Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in Kazakhstan for a state visit, hot off the heals of the G20. Xi Jinping called the two countries important neighbors and comprehensive strategic partners.
He highlighted mutual benefits of the bilateral relationship, saying SINO-Kazakh relations served as a fine example of good-neighborliness, equality, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.

The Chinese president will meet his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev, on developing and deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership, expanding cooperation and major international and regional issues of common concern. Xi hopes the visit will inject new impetus into bilateral relations. He's scheduled to witness the signing of a series of cooperation documents and attend a meeting of entrepreneurs from both countries. He'll also give a speech on China's foreign policy toward Central Asia, at Nazarbayev University.
