It's exactly 50 years since hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe died from a drugs overdose. A death that was widely suspected as suicide.
But her untimely passing is still a source of mystery for many fans and conspiracy theorists alike. The fans paying tribute to a celebrity taken too soon and why she’s still remembered and revered, 50 years on.

Schreiner said, "Well I have 12 of her gowns from her movies. I have furniture from her home. I have her director’s chair. I have scripts of hers, contracts, autographed checks."

A week which culminates at Marilyn’s Childhood theater, The El Portal Complex, where the forum theater, will be renamed in Marilyn’s honor; parts of it, like this lipstick red loveseat, already redesigned - to forever reflect all that is was and will be Ms. Monroe.

Ironically - Marilyn’s fame has far outlasted her life.
