Bulgarian officials say a lanky, long-haired man with a fake Michigan driver's license carried out the deadly suicide attack on a bus full of Israeli holidaymakers.
Six people died and more than 30 were injured in this powerful blast on a tourist bus at Burgas Airport on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast on Wednesday afternoon.
Bulgarian television aired security camera footage on Thursday showing the suspected bomber wandering in and out of the terminal shortly before the blast.
He was dressed as a tourist, and carried a large backpack with wheels, as well as a smaller bag. Bulgaria's foreign minister said the suspect had been in the country for 4 to 7 days and was about 35 years old.
Officials are using DNA samples to establish his identity. Prime Minister Boiko Borisov told reporters that a Michigan driver's license was retrieved, but he said US officials responded "there was no such person in their database."
