People across the world are in the thick of their summer vacations. Around the globe there are some creative and unusual ways people enjoy the season.
Mud Festival in South Korea
The action took place at Daecheon beach southwest of the South Korean capital, Seoul. Visitors simply couldn’t resist such activities as the mud marathon, mud slides and even mud wrestling.
A visitor said, "I didn't want to get dirty, but I got dirty."
It’s not only fun but healthy to boot. The mud gathered from nearby beaches is said to be rich in minerals and act as a moisturizer. The festival runs from July 14th to 24th.

Meanwhile, around 300 snorkelers and divers descended on the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary in the US. The divers aped performances on ocean themed instruments, though the real music came from speakers. The organizer hopes to use the fun to raise awareness of marine habitat protection.
Annual running of the bulls in Spain
And the annual running of the bulls kicked off on Saturday in Pamplona of Northern Spain. Of course, excitement and risk come hand-in-hand at this event. 38 people have been injured in the festival so far. But that hasn’t stopped the crowds. Organizers estimate that over 500,000 tourists arrived at the city for the festival.
