Floods and mudslides continue to plague rural and urban areas in central and southwestern China. Dozens have been killed and residents in many areas have been forced to evacuate.
Floods have claimed 10 lives and affected over 2 million others in the central province of Hubei.
Rainstorms in Guizhou Province, southwest China have also left at least 11 people dead and affected nearly a million more.
Local officials say that most of the deaths were caused by landslides and avalanches triggered by rainstorms. Local authorities are carrying out rescue work and delivering disaster relief goods, including blankets, rice and oil to those left homeless.
More heavy downpours are expected to hit parts of Guizhou Province over the next two days.
