The first game of 2012 European Championship on Friday turned out with a close tie 1:1 between co-host Poland and 2004 champion Greece.
The game took place at Poland's National Stadium in Warsaw. Just 18 minutes into the first half, Poland's Robert Lewandowski scored the first goal of the tournament past Greece's Kostas Chalkias. And later in the 51st minute of the second half, an equalizer from Greece as substitute Dimitris Salpingidis succeeded with the gift of a goal.
