Every month, at least one graduate of the China Barista Coffee (CBC) Training Center will open his or her own cafe. It's a testament to China's evolving coffee culture. But why do you need higher education to learn how to make a cup of joe?
Well, it turns out there's a lot more to making coffee than mixing grinds and hot water together! At the CBC, students learn how to roast their own beans, run their own cafe and refine their palate so they can tell a good cup from a bad cup.
CRI's Andrea Hunt visited the coffee training school in Beijing and got wired on some high-quality brew.
