Local media says floods in the central and northern parts of Thailand over the past several months have killed 82 people.
More than 600 schools have been submerged and three students killed.
Flash floods panicked villagers about landslides and they have got ready to move to safe areas. Flooding has also hampered rescue work, with muddy roads preventing rescuers from reaching the hardest hit areas.
Almost one million people have been affected and twenty eight provinces have been declared disaster areas. It's estimated that about 2,300 square meters of farmland have been damaged.
Thai Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, has ordered relief agencies to step up efforts to help the victims.
