It's good news for China's tiger population, as a tigress has given birth to triplets. They're the first cubs to born this year, in China's Mount Huang-shan Tiger Habitat.
Each cub weighs around 1.25 kg's and is over 20 centimeters long. All three new born cubs and mother are in good shape.
The Tiger Habitat in East China's Anhui province, said the parents are both four years old. According to Chinese folklore, the black stripe on a tiger's forehead resembles the shape of the Chinese character "wang," meaning king.
