"The Warring States", which is named after a period of time (475-221 BC) in China, revolves around the confrontation of then military strategists, Sun Bin (Sun Honglei) and Pang Juan (Francis Ng). It will be released in China on April 12, 2011.

The film highlights the romance between the characters played by Sun Honglei and Jing Tian.

"The Warring States" also stars South Korean actress Kim Hee-Sun, and Japanese actor Kiichi Nakai.
