The Dragon Pearl

As the first China-Australian official co-production, "The Dragon Pearl" was directed by Australian director Mario Andreacchio, and stars Hollywood star Sam Neill, Chinese actor Jordan Chan, Wang Ji and Australian actor Louis Corbett.
To present a feast for the audience's eyes, the film has invited the top visual effects company, Rising Sun Pictures (RSP), which has worked on the "Harry Potter" and the "The Lord of the Rings" film series.
"The film won't disappoint the audience or the market. It will not only be well-received in Chinese populated areas, but also in the international market," Mario Andreacchio was quoted as saying.
The film revolves around archeologists from both China and Australia together with their children as they try to protect the dragon pearl from being stolen by grave robbers.
"The Dragon Pearl" is scheduled for release in March, 2011.
