The first single from Michael Jackson's upcoming posthumous album is set for release later this month. The album "MICHAEL" will be the first release in nine years of new material from the pop icon.
The track, called "Hold My Hand," is a duet with Akon and was unveiled on Jackson's website Monday. Fans can get their hands on a copy when it's released on November 28th.
Jackson and Akon worked on the song in 2007. It was leaked online 2 years ago, but wasn't completed.
According to Epic Records, a handwritten note from Michael belonging to his Estate said that he wanted "Hold My Hand" be the first single on his next project.
The album "MICHAEL" also features collaborations with Lenny Kravitz and 50 Cent.
The song "Breaking News" debuted on Jackson's website last week.
Some of the tracks were recent recordings. It will feature 10 songs and is due out on December 14th.
