China has sent another rescue team to Pakistan, to help people in the country hit by severe floods. As the disaster continues to unfold, the team has much work to do.
On Tuesday, the 65-strong team prepared to fly to Pakistan. They will replace the first team which has been there since the end of August. And this time, their work will cover more sectors.
Liang Liwu, Chief Medical Officer of China Int'l Rescue Team, said, "Our top job is to set up mobile hospitals. We will treat patients. At the same time, we will monitor and prevent a possible epidemic."
Pakistan has been badly hit by floods this monsoon season. Some 20 million people have been affected, with eight million people made homeless. Once again, China is there to help.
