The central plaza of Yuyuan has been turned into a display of Shanghai's old city culture.
A huge steam bun is luring people to the stands of Nanxiang, a local favorite, to produce steam buns with various stuffings. Chefs are making the buns on the spot, filling them with beef, vegetables, mushroom, or seafood. And the Shanghai residents are eating them up.
Shanghai Resident, said, "It's a brand of Shanghai, of China. We have eaten their buns for twenty years. My son began to eat them when he was a child. Their taste gets even more delicious with time."
While the boat-shaped booth serves snacks from a vintage brand called Lübolang. The shop with various boat snacks as its forte is adding the World Expo mascot to its catalogue.
