The 2017 Qingdao International Technology Transfer Conference and Aoshan Eurasian Science and Technology Forum opened on Nov. 28, with deputy mayor Zhang Deping in attendance to show the government’s support for technology-driven industrial upgrading.
The event invited 130 scientists and academicians from 15 countries and regions including the US, Australia, and Russia, with the aim to lining up innovative resources worldwide to construct a digital “Silk Road”.
Nearly 1,000 technology officials, representatives from technology transfer agencies, investors and enterprises from Qingdao attended the event, which included marine science forum, project roadshows and matchmaking activities.
Advanced technologies and products in the fields of smart manufacturing, energy saving, biomedicine, electronic information, marine equipment, new material and aerospace and aviation were showcased at the event.
In the fourth year of running, the conference has formed a platform for international technological personnel to cooperate.
Initiated in 2016, the forum focuses on online and offline matchmaking. |
