Reporter just learned from the third meeting of the first session of People’s Congress, 2015 is a year to deepen the reform, as well as to comprehensively implement the three-year plan for construction of the New District. The construction will take innovation and improvement as theme, accelerate transformation and upgrading, pay much attention to strengtheninggovernance according to law to improve people’s livelihood.
In the past year, Huangdao District undertook its new mission and faced the challenges to achieve new development. It has grasped and taken the opportunity of the approval of the state-level district, and planned a series of measures for reform, implemented several strategic supporting programs. It has also solved many urgent and difficult issues, got practical matters done for citizens and has made great devotion to the progress in developing economic society.
In 2015, New District will emphasize on marine economy, and pay much attention to the 230 key programs with a total investment of 310 billion yuan. It will make sure that all the programs start construction this year. Meanwhile, it will focus its power on the construction of East Asia marine cooperation platform and other major programs, continue to improve people’s livelihood and promote the ecological construction and environment protection.
