Academy award-winning Chinese composer Tan Dun is now staging an orchestral concert featuring three of his most famous film scores.
The concert marks the 100th day of the Shanghai World Expo.
Tan Dun enlisted world class musicians to perform in his Martial Art Trilogy concert. They include Italian cellist Amedeo Cicchese, Japanese violinist Ryu Goto and Chinese pianist Sun Jiayi.
The concert includes performances on the cello from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", violin and guqin - a traditional Chinese zither - from the film "Hero" and a piano and chorus composition from "The Banquet".
The concert premiered at the new Expo Culture Center on Saturday, with performances until Monday.
