The newlyweds swirled onto the stage, receiving warm greetings from relatives and friends seated in the audience. After getting make-up and hair done by the French team, a symphony orchestra from the French city of Tours provided the music.
The first couple to register for the event were offered a free wedding dress, and received a French wedding certificate from the Mayor of Tours. A French feast awaited them after the ceremony. And it's not too late to participate.
The French-styled wedding will be held once more during the World Expo.
