The capital of South Korea, Seoul, will display its culture, economics and information technology in the Urban Best Practices Area exhibition at Shanghai World Expo.
The case falls into the "Livable City" sector of UBPA and will focus on Seoul's practice in developing cultural industries, setting up an E-government and creating a convenient public transport network.
IT technology, the restoration project of Cheonggyecheon Stream, which involves reopening creeks that flow through Seoul and creating pedestrian-friendly roads along the watersides, will also be featured in a 480-square-meter showcase.
Seoul officials plan to set up an area to allow visitors to get hands-on experience of historic tourism spots in the city via 3D technology.
