Yinding Bridge (Silver Ingot Bridge), a landmark in Beijing's tourist destination Shichahai Lake, shows its original shape after six months' large-scale restoration.
Yinding Bridge was first built in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It deserves the "Yinding" Bridge as it was in shape of a "silver ingot". "Stand at Yinding Bridge and view Western Hill" was one of the amazing sceneries in ancient Beijing. Now the tourists would like to "stand at Yinding Bridge and view Shichahai Lake" and boat from Qianhai (front lake) and Houhai (rear lake) through the channel along Shichahai Bar Street.
