North Korea Pyongyang Art Troupe Established in 1947, the Pyongyang Art Troupe is the top art organization in North Korea. It has performed in more than 100 countries, including China, Japan, the United States, Britain and France, and has won numerous international awards. The troupe boasts some of the top artists in North Korea.

The tour is the latest in a series of tours to China, following the opera "A Dream of Red Mansions," to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The troupe will perform in 20 cities in China from September, including Beijing, Shanghai, Nongbo, Kunming and Wenzhou.

The program will feature dance, singing and choral pieces. Traditional Korean dances, such as the fan dance and tambourine dance, will be performed, along with traditional Korean instruments such as the Korean flute. In addition to songs praising North Korean leader Kim Jong II, they will also sing popular Chinese folk songs such as "Say a Word From the Heart" and "Wave on Honghu Lake."
