This large establishment offers Chinese and Thai-style massage and reflexology, as well as facials and other beauty treatments.
With a calming ambiance, prompt and friendly service, masseuses with a soothing touch and complimentary food and beverages, Bodhi Therapeutic Retreat was a no-brainer destination to take every visiting Beijing guest or relative for a treat. At discounted prices for the better part of last year, it was a regular indulgence we took for granted. But sadly the days of those cheap deals have passed and our shoulders are cranked up against our ears once more. Well, tbj brings good news: Long Island Massage & Spa, a 1,700 square meter basement oasis, has just joined the ranks of Bodhi and Taipan with features like Chinese and Thai style massage and reflexology as well as facials and other beauty treatments offered in 34 rooms. Long Island distinguishes itself from the pack by boasting six licensed medical masseuses on staff to press your hurt-so-good nerve meridians and a drink and food menu that emphasizes healthy Southern-style specialties (warning: the nutty Guangdong cold teas are addictive). And with tempting introductory deals on the offering, Long Island is literally a bargain basement.
