Guangzhou's Yu Yiyi embraces distortion ecstasy at the Sally Can't Dance music festival, March 3, 2012. |
He's clearly romantic about music, and about its role in Beijing. His yet-to-be bar is an apt metaphor for his ideals. And it was a perfectly appropriate environment for the festival it hosted: an unfinished, unnamed space that didn't even have time to prepare to sell booze.

The unnamed venue is located behind a roasted chestnut vendor at the SW corner of Di'anmen Inner Street and Di'anmen West Street, Dongcheng district.
