Beijing is a reflection of China with its history steeped in the momentum of the nation from the very moment of its founding. This tour starts at Tian'anmen Square with its plentitude of monuments testifying to the communist, and more specifically, Mao's influence on China's modern history. From there you will proceed to the Forbidden City, which was constructed during the reign of Emperor Yong Le in the Ming Dynasty. It had been the seat of the power of empires for centuries. This group of buildings had been reconstructed on many occasions due to the countless wars and battles in history. The architecture seen today dates back from the 18th. Century. The Forbidden City is also known as the Imperial Palace Museum with abundant treasure of national level on display.
After a relaxing and meal, the tour will be on to the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is China's largest temple and altar complex. It is an extraordinary example of religious architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
