Sanxingdui is located 4 km northeast of Nanxing Town, Guanghan County, Sichuan Province. This archaeological site was found in 1980. Sanxingdui Archaeological Site displays Baodun Culture from Ancient Shu and Jinsha Cultures, the earliest cultures recorded in the history of China. This vividly showing historical site of 3,000 to 5,000 years ago covers an area of 12 square kilometers.

Sanxingdui has many precious bronze and gold artifacts which include the world's oldest life-size standing human statue of 260 cm of height, the world's oldest gold cane of 142 cm, and a bronze tree with birds, flowers, and ornaments.

1. Ticket sales ends at 5 pm, so remember to buy the ticket before 5 pm.
2. Students, seniors, people with disabilities, and soldiers can get discount.
3. Children less than 1.2m (including 1.2m) can visit the museum for free.
4. For a guide one can pay 120 yuan at the reception desk in the comprehensive gallery.
Getting There:
1. Take a bus at Xinnanmen Bus Station in Chengdu, it runs twice a day, respectively 8:30 am and 3 pm (Tel: +86-28-85433609)
2. Take a bus at Chengbei Bus Station, the bus leaves every 15 minutes.
