Whole-process people's democracy, a creation of the CPC to help the people to pursue, develop, and realize democracy, embodies the Party's innovation in advancing China's democratic theories, systems, and practices. According to the Party's 20th National Congress report, whole-process people's democracy is the defining feature of socialist democracy; it is democracy in its broadest, most genuine, and most effective form.
