# Shaanxi History Museum
The Shaanxi History Museum is located in Xi’an, a city that served as the imperial capital of 13 dynasties and is filled with important relics. The museum houses over 1.7 million exhibits, regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures.”
Some of the highlights of its collection include the awe-inspiring bronzes in the Shang (1766-1046 BCE) and Zhou (1046-256 BCE) dynasties, ceramic figurines, and mural paintings from the Tang (618-907) dynasty.
