# Quan Hongchan
Born in 2007, Quan was the youngest member of the Chinese delegation at the Tokyo Games. The 14-year-old claimed her first gold medal with an overwhelming victory in the women's 10m platform event on Aug. 5. Quan collected full marks in three out of her five dives and led all the way to the end.
The teenage diving sensation is the second-youngest Olympic champion in diving after Fu Mingxia, who won the women's 10m platform at the Barcelona Games in 1992 at the age of 13.
