The Institute of Information of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences released the Blue Book of Digital Economy at the Digital Economy Forum in Shanghai on Oct. 27, 2018.
The blue book took 50 representative countries as study samples. Based on the latest data at the end of 2017, the digital economy competitiveness of these 50 countries was quantitatively evaluated in terms of digital industry, innovation, infrastructure, and management.
Two thirds of the countries had different ratings compared to last year’s report, which meant that competition across countries intensified in the field of digital economy.
The following are the top 10 countries with the strongest digital economy:
