Shanghai Jiao Tong University has recently released a report, showing people's satisfaction with the public services in local cities.
The report was based on a survey of basic public services and government services, including various indices such as education, public hospital services, housing prices, social security, environmental protection, public security, infrastructure construction, entertainment facilities construction and public transportation.
Over 70 percent of respondents gave passing grades to their cities' public services, but only 30 percent give a thumbs up for their cities. The aspects that people worry the most about are housing prices, public hospital services, elementary and secondary school education and environmental protection.
