LeBron James, four-time NBA MVP, topped the list of highest-paid players in the NBA, with income of US$71 million, according to the latest ranking released by Forbes.
Second and third were Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant. Bryant will retire at the end of this season.
The income consists of two parts: salary and endorsements. James’ salary with the Cleveland Cavaliers is $23 million, only third highest in the league. However, his endorsement pay reached US$48 million. He’s likely to keep ranking high as he just signed a lifetime contract with Nike.
